This Privacy Policy outlines how Jordan Lowe (trading as JLOWEGRAPHICS) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you visit and interact with jlowegraphics.co.uk.
1. Information Handled by This Website
Because this site is a clean creative portfolio, data collection is kept to a bare minimum:
- Voluntary Communications: If you use a contact form or email me directly at jlowegraphics@gmail.com, I will receive your Name, Email Address, and any message details you provide.
- Technical Logs (Automated): To keep the website secure, my hosting provider (Clook) temporarily logs visitors’ IP addresses and basic browser types.
Note: This portfolio does not utilise third-party marketing or tracking cookies (such as Google Analytics).
2. Lawful Basis for Processing Data
Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the legal reasons I rely on to handle this information are:
- Legitimate Interests: To maintain website security, prevent spam, and respond directly to your graphic design enquiries.
- Contractual Obligation: To communicate with you and deliver creative services if you choose to hire me.
3. Data Storage and Third Parties
Your information is strictly protected and never sold or rented. It is handled by two specific data processors on my behalf:
- WordPress & Elementor: The core software used to build and display this website.
- Clook Internet: Our secure UK-based web hosting provider, who manages our server infrastructure.
4. Data Retention
Technical server logs are automatically overwritten or deleted periodically by our host. Any emails or design enquiries you send will be kept for as long as necessary to manage our business relationship or until you request their removal.
5. Your Legal Rights
You have the right to request a copy of the personal information I hold about you, request corrections to it, or ask for it to be completely erased. To make a request, please contact me at jlowegraphics@gmail.com.
6. How to Complain
If you have any questions or concerns about how your data is handled, please reach out via email. You also retain the legal right to raise a complaint with the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
